The Story of Dr. Gloria Trueh

Dr. Gloria Trueh is a dynamic force in the business world, recognized for her resilience, innovation, and dedication to empowering women globally. Known as the “Start-Up Queen,” she helps women transition from the corporate world to entrepreneurship, guiding them to experience the freedom and flexibility of running their own businesses.

She is an International Best-Selling Author, International Speaker, Mentor, Entrepreneur, Pastor, and Overseer of the Strength of a Woman Marketplace Ministry, which she launched during the COVID-19 pandemic. With over 20 years of experience in leadership training, business management, sales and marketing, contract writing, conference facilitation, and building platforms for women to speak virtually and in person, Dr. Trueh is passionate about helping women achieve lasting success as business owners.

Early Life & Journey

Born on the beautiful island of Barbados in 1970 as the fifth of nine children, Dr. Trueh dreamed of traveling the world and empowering women to use their God-given gifts to make a lasting impact. Upon moving to the United States, she focused on building relationships, cultivating trust, and creating networking opportunities for women in her community.

While in college, she founded the Light of the World Youth Center, hosting business workshops and seminars on Saturdays to help youth understand their purpose and reach for their dreams. Balancing school and night work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Dr. Trueh learned the value of perseverance, prayer, and determination—lessons she shares with women worldwide: never give up on your dreams, push past your fears, and believe you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
